Situated at the top of a cul-de-sac , so no busy through traffic, you can walk through a lane just outside your front door into the town square where you will find a many tea rooms, shops, pubs and restaurants.  There is a great choice on your doorstep - picturesque Bourton-on-the-Water just down hill (4 miles), The Slaughters, Upper and Lower Swell, often forgotten villages such as Kineton and Naunton both with local pubs.

Stow-on-the-Wold is one of the antique centres of the Cotswolds with Burford, Chipping Norton and Cirencester all well worth a visit.  The market square in Stow is large and impressive with the ancient buildings giving an insight of the town's historic past.
